LEAP-1B

The new LEAP-1B engine model is manufactured by CFM International; a 50/50 joint venture between General Electric (USA) & Safran Aircraft Engines (France). The engine entered into commercial service in May 2017. The LEAP-1B family with a thrust range of 22,000 – 32,000 (lbs), is the only powerplant option available to power the Boeing B737MAX narrow-body family of aircraft comprising the B737MAX 7, B737 MAX 8, B737 MAX 9, B737 MAX 10.
